Winnipeg Police have upgraded the charges against Alexander Agnus McPherson to Manslaughter in the Wolseley area assault that cause the death of a male in his 30s on Friday evening, August 16, 2019.
Police bad been called to the area of Wolseley Avenue and Tylehurst Street just before 5:30 pm after receiving a report that a male had been assaulted and was unresponsive. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition.
McPherson was arrested shortly after the incident and charged for his alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault.
He remains in custody.
