Beginning in mid-April Manitoba will be offering a fourth COVID-19 booster shot to people who live in personal care homes, supportive housing and assisted living, people in the community over 70 and First Nations, Inuit and Metis people aged 50 and older.
The province says they are offering the additional booster based on the recommendations from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization.
The second booster should be either Pfizer or Moderna and be given at least six months after receiving their last booster.
There is no word if or when an additional booster will be made available to the rest of the population.
