Mark your calendars! October 21 is the big day
Manitoba Liberals have chosen the date for their leadership election, October 21, 2017.
The leadership campaign begins on May 15th when those wanting the job can make their intentions know to the party executive.
According to the Liberals anyone who is a member of the party can run for the top job as long as they pass the vetting process which will include a review of past social media comments, criminal background checks etc.
To vote in the leadership election you have to have been a member for a minimum of one month prior to vote day.
Currently the liberals have three elected members in the Manitoba Legislature.
