Enforcement of COVID-19 restrictions continued last week with 27 people receiving fines for placing other Manitobans at risk and violating the public health guidelines.
67 per cent of those who thumbed their nose at the rules reside in Southern Health with 22 per cent residing in Winnipeg.
Four $1,296 tickets were issued to individuals. 21 $298 tickets went to people not wearing masks in an indoor public place and two businesses received tickets for $5,000 each.
