Manitoba Hydro reached a tentative agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 2034 on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
Hydro says that they are not disclosing the specific terms of the agreement but say the union has told them they will be recommending the offer to its members.
The ratification vote is expected to happen next week and in the meantime, all strike action that began on June 30, 2023, will be paused pending the outcome.
Approximately 2300 Manitoba Hydro electrical workers are represented by IBEW.
