It is not often people see a single Lynx in the wild and it is even more rare to see a family of Lynx crossing a Manitoba Highway.
Manitoba Hydro employee Shaun Kirchmann was on Highway 6 heading towards Grand Rapids when he spotted a bunch of little heads peeking out from the trees.
The hydro worker turned nature photographer in the moment, pulled out his camera and video recorded the encounter as the family of Lynx crossed the highway.
An adult cat and five young one can be seen in the video crossing the roadway and disappearing into the bush on the other side.
