MANITOBA HAS SECOND-LOWEST UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN CANADA

Statistics Canada says Manitoba had the second-lowest unemployment rate in the country in April.

Manitoba’s unemployment rate was 6.1% in April, the second lowest of any province in the country and was below Canada’s rate of 7.1%. British Columbia had a rate of 5.8%. 

According to the report full-time employment in Manitoba was up by 1,200 jobs since March.
