Manitoba announced on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, that it is expanding the recommendations for a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
All First Nations, Inuit and Metis people over the age of 18 and all Manitobans aged 70 and older should receive a third dose.
The province says the third dose should be given at least six months after the last dose received. It is recommended that the third dose should also be the same mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) as the previous dose.
Third are available at participating medical clinics, pharmacies, urban Indigenous sites and other vaccine clinics located throughout the province.
