Manitoba continues to enforce COVID-19 public health orders with 87 warnings and 59 tickets issued between June 14 to 20.
According to the province 46 $1,296 tickets were handed out to individuals of which 35 were related to gatherings and 10 for failing to self-isolate. One ticket was given out to a sole proprietorship.
Eleven $298 tickets went to individuals who were not wearing a mask in an indoor public place.
Two businesses were fines $5,000 for violating COVID-19 restrictions.
Enforcement officials noted that they continue to investigate all large gatherings and rallies. Six $1,296 tickets were issued related to previously held rallies. Officials say they expect more fines to be handed out related to their investigations.
