Finance Minister Cameron Friesen officially announced today that the Manitoba 2018 budget will be presented in the legislature on Monday, March 12, 2018.
The minister took to social media on Thursday evening with a video announcing the date and praising the accomplishments the government has made.

Friesen said that the province continues to make progress on expenditure management. He said the second quarter report for the 2017-18 fiscal year cited Manitoba’s forecast summary deficit at $827 million, an improvement of $13 million from the projected $840 million deficit in Budget 2017.
Budget 2018 will be able to be seen live on News 4 when it is tabled in the house.
