Manitoba begins shipping vaccine to first nation communities

Today Manitoba began shipping 5,300 doses of the Moderna vaccine to First Nation communities to support their immunization campaigns.

First Nation organizations say that they will be immunizing health-care workers, residents in personal care homes and elder care facilities as well as older Manitobans in their communities.

Manitoba has committed to send an additional 5,300 doses too the vaccine to First Nation communities in February.
