A late night fire in a multi-family home caused serious damage to one of the four suites inside.

The fire broke out around 11:20 pm March 22, 2019, on Manitoba Avenue and was quickly put out by fire crews.

Everyone in the building were able to evacuate safely and there are no reports of injuries.

The suite where the fire was located suffered extensive fire, water and smoke damage.

The other three suits were undamaged and the residents of those suites were able to return after crews ventilated the building.

The fire is under investigation.
