A fire just before 9:00 am on Manitoba Avenue is under investigation say Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service.
The fire was in a multi-family, two-storey home.
When crews arrived they encountered heavy smoke coming from the structure and launched an offensive attack. The blaze was brought under control just after 9:30 am.
No injuries were reported.
Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services were on scene to help 13 residents find temporary housing supports.
