Winnipeg suspect wanted in Molson, MB home invasion

RCMP are looking for 30-year-old Winnipeg man wanted in connection to a Molson, Manitoba home invasion.

Police say that just after 7:00 am on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, officers located a vehicle that appeared to have been abandoned in the RM of Reynolds.

The vehicle led the officers to a home in Molson where they found two men who claimed they had been assaulted and robbed during a home invasion earlier that morning.

Police say that three or four people had entered the home, assaulted the victims then forced them into a room at gunpoint. The pair were then tied up, blindfolded and gagged.

Investigators say that the suspects then proceeded to rob the victims before leaving the stolen vehicle that had been abandoned.

One of the suspects has been identified and is currently wanted by RCMP.

Allan Räkle Schnittker is facing 27 charges related to the incident including Assault with a weapon, Forcible Confinement, Pointing a Firearm, Robbery with a Firearm, Breaking and Entering and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

Police say Schnittker is described as a 30-year-old Caucasian male, 5’10”, 161 lb, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Police say that he is known to frequent Winnipeg, Beausejour and Lac du Bonnet areas.
