Winnipeg Police are looking for a male suspect after he assaulted a Winnipeg Transit driver.
It happened on January 21, 2018, around 4:30 pm. The driver had stopped on Portage Avenue at Fort Street when a man got on the bus and told the driver he didn’t have money to pay the fare.
Police say that shortly afterwards the driver was punched in the face and the male took off on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 20 years old with an average build. He was wearing a brown hooded jacket and blue jeans.
