Early this morning, September 27, 2017 Police received a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle.
It happened on Highway 201 just west of Roseau River First Nation.
Police say a 43-year-old male from Saskatchewan was walking along the highway wearing dark clothing when he was hit by a westbound vehicle.

RCMP say he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver is not facing any charges and investigators say alcohol and speed did not play a factor in the collision.
The investigation continues.
