A 31-year-old male is in custody after the killing of a family member on Friday, December 27, 2019.
Winnipeg Police say that Milles Anthony Ramirez walked into police headquarters Friday afternoon and allegedly confessed to the killing of 54-year-old Reynaldo Ramirez.
Police say that emergency responders went to the home on Highwater Path and found the victim dead with stab wounds.
The death marks the 44th homicide of 2019.
Ramirez was charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
Investigators from the Homicide Unit are continuing look into the death.
