A 28-year-old male is facing weapons charges after he allegedly threatened several people on a Winnipeg Transit bus on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
Police say the male armed with scissors was acting aggressively when officers arrived to the scene at Portage Avenue and Arlington Street.
Everyone had safely gotten off the bus before police arrived except for the driver who remained onboard.
Officers were forced to use a taser in oder to that the suspect into custody.
The suspect was taken to hospital to be assessed and is still there according to police.
No one on the bus was injured during the incident.
