One man was taken to hospital after he was attacked and stabbed outside the Balmoral Hotel late Friday night, August 26, 2022.
Witnesses tell News 4 that just before midnight, a group of people got into an altercation with an adult male in the parking lot of the Balmoral Hotel. An argument quickly escalated and the man was tripped to the ground. One of the attackers was seen with what appeared to be bear spray and another was seen kicking the male several times just prior to him being stabbed.
As police arrived on the scene the group involved in the incident quickly fled the area.
Paramedics transported the victim to hospital in critical condition.
Police had the area cordoned off for more than an hour as they investigated the incident.
