RCMP are investigating a fatal collision in Peguis First Nation.
Investigators say they were called to the scene on Provincial Road 224 around 8:40 pm on Monday, September 6, 2021. When they arrived they found a 37-year-old male dead at the scene.
Police learned that the male had been standing in the middle of the road when he was struck by a vehicle travelling northbound. The 78-year-old driver of the vehicle and his 20-year-old male passenger were not injured in the collision.
The investigation is continuing.
