A 27-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly stabbed a 40-year-old man during a verbal altercation in the 400 block of Prichard Avenue.
According to police the victim had gone to the residence in the early afternoon of Monday, November 6, 2023, to speak with someone who lived there but was not home. A verbal altercation began between the victim and two other residents he did not know. During the altercation the a suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim which resulted in a serious upper-body injury.
The man was taken to hospital by a 34-year-old female for medical attention.
Police have arrested and charged Devon Anthony David Naylor for his alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault, Two counts of Possession of a Weapon, Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition, Mischief Under $5,000 / Obstruct in Enjoyment.
