Just after 1:00 am Tuesday morning, July 11, 2017, police responded to a robbery that had turned violent.
As officers arrived at a home in the 100 block of Bannerman Avenue they found a 48 year old man suffering from multiple stab wounds to the mid-body. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Police believe the victim was walking in the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue when he was approached by the suspect in the case. He was stabbed then robbed. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount money.
