Police are investigating a shooting after a male was found suffering from a gunshot wound in his lower body near Dufferin Avenue and Parr Street.

The incident happened around 6:00 pm on November 30, 2021. Officers provided emergency medical care while waiting for paramedics to arrive. The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable.

Investigators say that the victim in his 50s had been walking across the Arlington Street Bridge when he was confronted by two unknown males. The victim ran away from the males when he heard gunshots and was hit.

Police say no arrests have been made.
