The man shot by police after allegedly driving erratically and pointing a gun at police has now been charged.
Carl Devin Beaulieu, 30, of Winnipeg faces 10 charges including possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, careless use of firearm, pointing a firearm.
Beaulieu was airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries on Thursday.
Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit is investigating the shooting and asking witnesses and other individuals who have information or video footage that may assist this investigation to contact them toll-free at 1-844-667-6060.
