One Brandon man is in the doghouse after accidentally shooting his girlfriend in the leg on Saturday morning, December 8, 2018.
Brandon Police say that the 25-year-old male was attempting to unload his 12 gauge shotgun when it went off. Both the man and his girlfriend told officers that the discharge was an accident.
Police arrested the boyfriend and seized the weapon. The male was released from custody and has a date with a judge in January.
