Winnipeg Police are investigating a fatal collision between a mini dirt bike and a car on Salter Street Wednesday night, June 17, 2020.
Police say the adult male was driving the mini dirt bike on Salter Street near Boyd Avenue without a helmet when he collided with a car.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition where he later died. The occupants of the car were not injured.
Police say that the mini dirt bike was not legally permitted to be driven on a roadway.
Members of the Winnipeg Police Service Traffic Unit are continuing to investigate the incident.
