MAN RIDING LAWN TRACTOR TOPPLES INTO RED RIVER

 

 

STARS Air Ambulance airlifted the man to Winnipeg

 

 

 

 

 

A Selkirk man is recovering in a Winnipeg hospital today after the lawn tractor he was driving fell 30 feet into the Red River.

The 66 year old rider broke his back and several ribs in the accident. 

 

Selkirk Fire crews rescued the man from the Red River (Selkirk Record)

 

Selkirk EMS summoned STARS Air Ambulance to transport the man to Health Science Centre in Winnipeg after the Friday afternoon mishap.

He is expected to make a full recovery.
