Man pulled from Assiniboine River Friday night

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a water rescue on West Gate Friday night April 30, 2021, around 6:30 pm.

A witness to the rescue told News 4 that firefighters pulled a man, who was close to the shore, from the Assiniboine River. The man appeared to be in his late 40s or early 50s.

It is not know what injuries the male may have suffered but he was transported to hospital in unknown condition.
