A 34-year-old Lynn Lake man is behind bars after threatening Winnipeg Transit riders early Friday morning, November 1, 2019.
Police say that around 12:45 am a transit driver reported to his supervisor about the man. The driver stopped the bus on Dunkirk Drive near Kingston Row.
The suspect got off the bus and was taken into custody by police but not before that had to chase him down on foot.
On injuries were reported but officers found that man had an 8″ knife in his possession when he was arrested. The suspect also admitted to police that he had ingested meth prior to the incident.
Roxy Pierre Colomb was charged for his alleged involvement with Carry Concealed Weapon and Possess Weapon.
