Police say that just after 4:00 pm on Saturday afternoon, April 6, 2019 security from Portage Place escorted a male out of the mall. Once outside the male pulled a knife and threatened the security officers and several people on the street.
Officers located the near Ellice Avenue and Hargrave Street and found him in possession of a folding knife. He was arrested.
Sandy David Bruce, 33, from Winnipeg is facing charges for his alleged involvement of:
- Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm X2
- Possess Weapon
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was detained in custody.
