A male in his 70s was taken to hospital after being attacked by a group of people near Burrows Avenue and Charles Street around 4:30 am on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
According to police the male was walking his dog when he was attacked with a weapon. The victim suffered severe injuries and was taken to hospital in unstable condition but was later upgraded to stable.
Investigators have not arrested any suspects yet but say the investigation is continuing.
