RCMP has arrested a 32-year-old man after he allegedly was seen leaning out a window of the Lord Selkirk hotel in Selkirk with a long gun.
According to RCMP, officers immediately cordoned off the area and issued a public notice to avoid the area.
The suspect made his way to the roof of the hotel but came down once officers were able to make contact with him. He was arrested without incident.Police say that a long barrel pellet gun was found inside the suspect’s hotel room.
No injuries were reported.
Police have not said what charges the man might face in connection to the incident.
