Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man after he took off when spotting officers in the 300 block of Langside Street.
It happened on August 22, 2017, just after 6:30 pm. Officers had been watching the man carry a gym bag. When the man noticed them he bolted eventually dropping the bag and entering an apartment complex nearby.
Officers recovered the bag that contained an airsoft rifle, brass knuckles, a hatchet, as well as credit and debit cards that had different names on them.

The suspect was busted when he attempted to leave the apartment complex a couple of hours later.
Harley David Coleman is facing a number of charges for his alleged involvement including Possess Prohibited Weapon, Possess Weapon Dangerous Public Purpose, Carry Concealed Weapon Prohibited x 3, Possess Firearm, Fail to Comply Probation Order x 2, Possess Credit Card x 5.
Coleman was held in custody.
