Tyler Alexander Severight has been charged for his alleged involvement in the November 26, 2022, killing of Daniel Cook at a Fury Street apartment.
Police had responded to the apartment around 1:44 am after receiving reports of shots fired. Cook was found inside the apartment with severe injuries. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but did not survive his injuries.
Investigators identified the male suspect and took him into custody on December 21, 2022, near Sargent Avenue and Agnes Street.
It is believed that the accused and the victim, known to each other as associates, were involved in a dispute which escalated into a fatal shooting.
Severight has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
He was detained in custody
