A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the murder of Marcel Painchaud on July 8, 2023.
Winnipeg Police Homicide detectives say that the accused and victim were both tenants in the same building and were known to each other. An altercation happened in the victim’s suite the escalated to the victim being stabbed and killed.
Abdiazia Ahmed Saeed has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
He has been detained in custody.
