On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, Winnipeg Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) executed a search warrant on a Fort Rouge home. Investigators seized an electronic device that contained child sexual abuse images along with other electronic devices.
In early October the ICE unit received a report that child sexual abuse images were being uploaded to an online storage and cloud service.
72-year-old Gary Anthony Shady from Winnipeg has been arrested for his alleged involvement and is charged with Possession of Child Pornography.
Shady has been detained in custody
