Man facing charges after threatening two Winnipeg Transit employees

Winnipeg Police have arrested an 18-year-old male after he threatened to kill a driver and a supervisor on a Winnipeg Transit Bus.

It happened early this morning September 20, 2017. The male was asleep at the back of the bus and became aggressive when the operator and transit supervisor attempted to wake him up.

Police were called and learned that the suspect was under a recognizance to leave a Winnipeg Transit Bus if required to do so.

Tyrell Marquel Cornish was charged for his alleged involvement with utter threats and fail to comply recognizance.
