Winnipeg police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man in connection to multiple indecent acts and sexual assaults on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
According to police the suspect went into a restaurant around 4:00 pm in the 200 block of Portage Avenue, made sexual comments to female staff and then exposed himself. Staff were able to get the man out of the business and lock the doors.
Shortly afterwards the man allegedly exposed himself to a female in the skywalk in the 300 block of Portage Avenue. A second woman reported to police that she had been touched in an unwanted sexual manner in the same block.
Two women also reported to police that the suspect exposed himself and assaulted them on the University of Winnipeg Campus in the 500 block of Portage Avenue.
An adult female informed police that she had been touched in an unwanted sexual way while shopping in a store in the 200 block of Portage Avenue.
Police issued photos of the suspect taken from security cameras and appealed to the public for information on his identity.
On November 2, 2023, the suspect was located in the downtown area by police and taken into custody.
Moses Bradley Swan of Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with seven counts of Indecent Act, two counts of Sexual Assault, Robbery and Assault. He was detained in custody.
