RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle collision that happened on the Perimeter Highway between Portage Avenue and Roblin Boulevard.
Around 8:30 am Monday, January 25, 2021, a 28-year-old Winnipeg male was travelling southbound when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a pole at the side of the highway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP say that at the time of the collision there were slippery road conditions. Alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
RCMP continue to investigate.
