An investigation is underway after a 58-year-old male died after coming into contact with live hydro lines on February 28, 2022, in the RM of Norfolk Treherne.
RCMP say that the deceased was loading an excavator onto a trailer on Highway 245 when the boom of the machine came in contact with the power line which caused the male to get an electrical shock.
Paramedics were called but the man was declared deceased at the scene.
RCMP and Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health are continuing to investigate.
