A 33-year-old male is dead after the minivan he was driving was hit by a semi-truck on Centreport Way Wednesday afternoon, January 20, 2021.

Police say the semi was eastbound when it failed to negotiate a curve, drove through the median and collided with the westbound minivan. The truck came to a stop in the north ditch.

The driver of the minivan was taken to hospital in critical condition but did not survive and was pronounced dead soon afterwards. The 37-yera-old driver of the semi was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
