Winnipeg Police were called to the report of a stabbing early Saturday Morning.
When officers and paramedics arrived on the scene in the 900 block of Kimberly Avenue they found an 18-year-old male had been stabbed in the upper body. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Investigators say that the victim got into an altercation with a number of people in front of a home on Kimberly when the situation escalated and that is when the victim was stabbed in the upper body.
Police are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information that can help investigators to call them at 201-986-6219.
