A 38-year-old male has been arrested in connection to the death of 41-year-old Oghenetega Ufuoma on November 18, 2021, near River Avenue and Osborne Street.
Ufuoma’s body was found laying on the ground around 7:15 am. First responders determined he had died. Police began an investigation due to the suspicious circumstances of his death.
Investigators determined that the victim was attacked during an altercation inside a bus shelter. Police believe other people were in the bus shelter at the time of the assault and may have valuable information.
Nevis Carter has been charged for his alleged involvement with Manslaughter. Police say that the victim and accused were known to each other and frequented the area.
