Winnipeg Police have charged a 28-year-old male in connection to a fatal vehicle collision at Bond Street and Kildare Avenue West early Sunday morning, May 2, 2022.

The 24-year-old female driver of one of the vehicles was extracted from her vehicle and taken to hospital in critical condition where she was soon died from her injuries.

The driver and passengers in the other vehicle fled the scene.

Police were able to identify driver go the other vehicle.

Tyler Scott Goodman has been charged for his alleged involvement with Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death, Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death While Impaired to Any Degree by BAC or Drug or a Combination of Both and Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident Knowing that or Reckless as to Whether They Were Involved in an Accident Causing Death.

The investigation continues.
