Winnipeg police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a number of Winnipeg Transit passengers on various buses on Tuesday morning, September 20, 2022.
The victims reported the incidents to the bus drivers
Police say they received reports that the suspect got onto numerous buses and grabbed the buttocks of random females. He then attempted to kiss them. In one instance the unknown male spit on a person while exiting one of the buses.
Police have yet to speak to any of the victims and are asking anyone with information about the incidents to call the Sex Crimes Unit at (204) 986-6245 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-8477.
The bus numbers and route times that the incidents took place in are:
- Bus 737 – Route 47- 4
At approximately 7:00 a.m. - Bus 748 – Route 20-1
At approximately 9:30 a.m. - Bus 152 – Route 29-1
At approximately 10:20 a.m. - Bus 198 – Route 11-1
At approximately 10:30 a.m. - Bus 329 – Route 21-5
At approximately 11:00 a.m. - Bus 737 – Route 47-4
At approximately 1130 a.m.
