RCMP are investigating after a male in his 20s was attacked by a suspect with an axe early Saturday morning, September 28, 2019.
Police say that around 2:20 am two males were walking along Saskatchewan Avenue in Portage la Praire when they were confronted three males.
One of the suspects swung an axe hitting one of the males in the upper body.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life treating injuries.
Investigators say that the suspects appeared to b in their 20s and were wearing dark clothing. The suspect who wielded the axe may have had facial hair on his chin.
