Man Arrested with $1800 in Counterfeit Cash
Winnipeg Police had a high number of reports of counterfeit money being passed to retail stores in April and May. An investigation was started and a 28 year old male was identified as a suspect.
On May 6 WPS arrested the male at which time they found about $1800 in counterfeit Canadian cash on his person.
He is facing numerous charges in relation to the possession, use and making of counterfeit currency.
