A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Princess Street earlier this month.
On February 5th, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a call in the 300 block of Princess Street where they found a 37-year-old man suffering from a serious stab wound to his lower body. Officers provided immediate medical assistance, including applying a tourniquet, before the victim was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
The Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and, after a period of investigation, identified a suspect. On February 16th, at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers located the suspect in the same 300 block of Princess Street and took him into custody without incident.
Dorian Reid Hardisty, 26, of Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with Assault with a Weapon and has been detained in custody.
