Winnipeg Police have arrested a 34-year-old male after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Kildodnan Park on May 17, 2020.

Police say the woman in her 30s was in the park around noon with her young child when the man sat down beside her and began a conversation with her. During the conversation the male groped her. The victim left immediately and called 911. She was not physically injured during the incident.

Investigators were able to identify the suspect who happened to live nearby And placed him under arrest on Thursday May, 28, 2020.

Sexual Assault charges are pending.
