A 42-year-old male is in custody after making threats while armed with a shotgun.
Police say that just before 12:30 am Tuesday morning, September 17, 2019, they received reports of a male in a Selkirk Avenue apartment building making threats to residents.
The suspect allegedly said he would shoot anybody that attempted to enter the residence.
Police responded in force including with the Tactical Support Team and secured the building. The suspect was taken into custody after about an hour. A loaded shotgun was found at the scene.
Christopher Lee Pottinger is facing 15 firearms-related charges for his alleged involvement.
Pottinger was detained in custody.
